Port and Marine Boundaries
- It is prudent for Port Authorities to know where their spatial liabilities lie. C.T.S. can assist in ratifying Port boundaries.
- C.T.S. is familiar with the processes of compiling, delimitating, documenting and submitting such exercise to National and International Authorities.
- C.T.S. also understands the need to incorporated boundary information into Harbour and Piloting Acts and to alert the maritime industry world wide.
Port and Coastline Emergency Response Planning (ERP)
- C.T.S. can assist authorities in developing sensible and workable ERP and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in Port and Pilotage Districts. The ERP includes but not restricted to combating oil pollution, ship grounding, collisions, fire and explosion
- C.T.S. has experience in co-ordinating the outside agencies which sometimes need to be incorporated into Port and Pilotage District’s ERP.
- C.T.S. understands the necessity of developing an ERP with the co-operation of the personnel concerned and is capable of training the team.
- C.T.S. works with existing government, private industrial, commercial shipping companies and establishments to help them attain local and international standards.
- C.T.S. has co-ordinated with government and private institutions to ensure that maritime education is included in academic programmes and mass media.
- C.T.S. Can liaise with the government and international institutions in all matters concerning maritime co-operation, co-ordination, studies or research.
